Top of the world

So it’s official.

We bought a house.

It is still hard to believe that in one and a half weeks we will own a patch of land big enough to fit significantly more than a few pots of herbs and an old miners cottage located one hour away from Melbourne in a small country town. 

It just goes to show what can happen with a bit of patience, persistence and a little bit of luck. 

Here is the simplest song I could find to describe the feeling as sung by the brother-sister duo, The Carpenters.
